大阪府生まれ。1965年、具体美術協会（※）の最年少会員となり、解散まで在籍。「具体大学で学び、卒業した」と述べ、「具体」の精神を今日に伝える。白のレリーフや、写真や映像の作品でも知られる。毎日の自写像「デイリーポートレイト」など。

Born in Osaka Prefecture. Became the youngest member of the Gutai Art Association（※） in 1965, remaining a member until its dissolution. He describes his education as "studied and graduated from Gutai University," continuing the spirit of Gutai. Known for his white reliefs, and works using photographs and videos. Creates daily self-portraits called "Daily Portraits."
