京都府生まれ。1974年、第９回東京国際版画ビエンナーレ展で京都国立近代美術館賞を受賞。写真製版によるシルクスクリーン技法を使い、断片的な映像が浮遊する作品で知られる。「関西現代版画史」（美学出版）の編纂にも関わる。

Born in Kyoto Prefecture. In 1974, he received the Kyoto National Museum of Modern Art Award at the 9th Tokyo International Print Biennale. Known for his silkscreen works using photolithography, featuring fragmented images floating in space. He also contributed to the compilation of "History of Contemporary Print in Kansai" (Bigaku Syuppan).
